[color=#3498db]As many of you are aware, the server has suffered from a few griefers the past few days. I've had a few ideas on how to fix the problem without having to rely on staff. Feel free to add to the ideas or share your own ideas on this thread.[/color] [b][u][color=#e74c3c]1. Vote to Kick/Temporary Ban[/color][/u][/b]     Many of you are aware that in order to apply for staff, you must have 24 hrs under your belt. Well, what if there was a status for users who have dedicated 24 hours to Tyler's RP? The benefits of this status is you get to help the server when the staff is unable to get on. If there is more than 1 user online with this status, they can begin a poll to kick or ban a user for 30 - 60 mins. My idea is that only people with this status can partake in the poll. I know this ability could be abused, but I also think it could help the server greatly. [u][color=#e74c3c][b]2. A Cool Down for Switching Jobs When Demoted[/b][/color][/u]     A lot of griefers tend to hit the jobs with guns right away. SWAT or Secret Service for example. While these jobs do require votes in order for you to become this job, many griefers get the jobs anyways. There is currently a demotion feature on the server that allows the users to vote to demote a user from a job. This is especially used when you have an abusive mayor. Say Jimmy over here is mayor and likes to make very creative laws like, "If you dont give me money I KOS". So he gets demoted by the server. If we are to implement my cool down idea, Jimmy will not be able to become mayor for 30 minutes. This will help with griefers, because if BobbyJ67 likes to SWAT it up and RDM while staff is offline, the server can demote BobbyJ67 and he wont be able to use that weapon for 30 minutes. Of course they can also demote him from other jobs if he abuses them as well. [color=#3498db]These are just a few ideas. Tell me what you think/throw around any ideas you have![/color]  

I second the voting aspect alot. But for the demote wait time, it doesnt matter really, it might stop them but as a civilian they can get an m4 and lay havoc. Those 2 ideas are the main ideas though, nothing else, other than we need staff on at night to stop them.

+1 for vote to kick but not to ban and it will have to make it whare only people with 5 hours or more can vote

+1 to Muffin's solution, it wouldn't make sense to allow someone with less than 5 hours to vote.
